Today’s tip on how to help an addicted loved one recover is the power of vitamin N. Which means NO. The power of the word, no, when you are trying to help an addicted loved one recover, is vital, because it helps us hold to our strong fences, keep them up, and allow our addicted loved ones their pain. In my book “Unhooked”, I talk a lot about how my parents learned how to give me a dose of vitamin N. They told me no, every time I wanted a bailout or I needed money and have my bills paid. They got to that point where they said, no, no more, and so I empower you and encourage you to practice giving your addicted loved one a dose of vitamin N.
